History
Creative Plastics, Inc ventured into thermoforming as an industry pioneer with a vintage hand oven on the original site of Korn Field. The company was established in 1968 by Wayne F. Korn as an outside source of vacuum formed plastic components being used by a nearby travel trailer manufacturer.
1960's
Keith Korn, Wayne’s cousin, joined the company in the 1970s to manage the day to day operations. As Senior Vice President and to our customers, Keith represents one of the most experienced thermoforming professionals in the industry.
1970's
Randy Korn, son of Wayne, joined Creative Plastics as Vice President of Operations in 1993.
It was under Keith and Randy’s joint leadership and several machinery investments and expansions later, that Creative Plastics emerged an experienced industry leader with many loyal, skilled and well trained employees.
1990's
On September 1st, 2009 the Wurm family acquired Wayne’s ownership interest of Creative Plastics, Inc and the company became known as Creative Plastics International. Keith Korn is now enjoying retirement after a long, successful career. Creative Plastics International is a strong, lean operation that is well positioned to serve your needs.
2000's
